Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one caring, confidential ministry providing emotional and spiritual support to someone going through a difficult time in his or her life. The reason for requiring this care varies widely and may include:

• Loss of a loved one through death or divorce

• Hospitalization or a terminal illness

• Relocation

• Unemployment

• Difficulties encountered through the aging process

• Loneliness or discouragement
